Camp Description:
The Youth Elite Boys Residential/Commuter Camp provides boys ages 12-13 (6th-8th Grade) an opportunity to train with the Green Bay Men’s Soccer staff and other college coaches from around the Midwest over an extended 3-day period.  The highest level of technical, tactical, and fitness training will be coached during the training sessions. Campers will experience extremely competitive games at night. It is a highly charged camp for the serious soccer player with the ambition of playing soccer at a high level in high school, club, and beyond.

Goalkeepers will train separately with  the Green Bay goalkeeping staff in most training sessions, focusing on training the technical, tactical, and physical demands place on high level goalkeepers, and will play in goal within a team setting at night. Please indicate your position as a goalkeeper on your registration form.

Camp Schedule

A sample camp schedule can be found HERE. Please keep in mind that this schedule is subject to change at any time.

Housing

All residential campers and staff will stay in UW-Green Bay’s recently remodeled residence halls, featuring fully furnished double rooms each with its own private bathroom and shower. Access to all of our residence halls is restricted by keycards for security purposes and feature 24-hour residence hall staff supervision to ensure the safety of all campers. Roommates will be assigned at random unless requested in advance. Please make any requests for a roommate on the application.

Meals

All meals starting with lunch on the first day of camp are included in the camp cost. All meals will take place at UW-Green Bay’s University Union Cafeteria. Campers will also have the option of purchasing pizza every evening following their evening games. Pizza can be purchased using cash or a Snack Card(s).

Commuter campers will eat only lunch and dinner on campus each day.

Medical

A staff of certified first responders and medical trainers is on duty at the camp at all times. A doctor is on call, and the student health facilities are readily accessible. UW-Green Bay staff will collect all prescription and over-the-counter drugs at Check-in and will distribute these to the campers as needed/required. Because of the rigorous daily schedule, each camper should come to camp in top physical condition. The camp assumes no responsibility for accidents or illnesses. Please bring your own athletic tape if you need to be taped before playing. Our Training Staff will be on hand at check-in to answer any questions or address any concerns regarding medication or other medical issues.

Required Forms

After you register for an event, you will receive a confirmation email with links to all the important forms and documents you will need. However, if you have deleted this email, the forms can also be found HERE.

Equipment/Packing List

A packing list for the 3-Day Residential Camp can be found HERE. Please remember that all campers are required to have their own ball. If you are not purchasing a ball with registration, you must bring a ball with you to camp.

Camp Store / Snack Cards

There will be a camp store located in the dormitory that will be open after evening games where campers can buy drinks and snacks. To avoid having campers carrying excess amounts of cash around with them and eliminate the exchange of money at the camp store, we will be using Snack Cards to purchase items at the camp store. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE CAMP STORE!
Snack Cards can be purchased at check-in in $10 increments. There are no refunds for snack cards or the money left on the card at the end of camp, so please plan accordingly.
